How to hide the username of users in Windows 7 Login Page

By default, windows shows all usernames in the Login page, which mean, every one will know the users in that computer. This is not good for security. We can hide the username and require users to enter it in Login page in 6 simple steps.


Step 1: Press "Start" --> Run (WIN + R) --> Type in "regedit" --> Press "OK"

Step 2:  The Registry Editor should pop up, go the the following registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

Step 3:  Find "dontdisplaylastusername"

Step 4: Right Click --> Modify

Step 5: Change 0 to 1

Step 6: Click "OK" , Close the Editor, Restart Computer.
